A California panel advises on Wednesday that Charles Manson has claimed that after being imprisoned by Leslie Van Houten for more than four decades.
Chino, when he was heard in California women's jails, Parole's Board of Auditors discovered for the third time that Van Houten was at age 69.
In this case, if he is undergoing a 150-day review process, he will have to hand over the new Gavin Newsom governor of California. Van Houten twice asked for a trial, but governor Jerry Brown blocked his release.
Van Houten was among the followers of Manson's killing worshipers, in 1965, rich Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary, were wealthy in Greenland. While at the age of 19, Van Houten was killed, Manson's followers killed Sharon Tate's pregnant actress and four others in Los Angeles.
Tate sister took part in the Wednesday process and later said that she agrees with the freedom of thought.
"I have to wait and pray for the right to decide the Governor," and Van Hout's bar is behind, as Debra Tate said. Newsom's office did not immediately respond to the request.
Van Houten's lawyer Rich Pfeiffer said he was happy that curators had taken "full responsibility" for their murders.
"He chose Manson to go. He decided to listen and admit," said Pfeiffer. The news would be "much more difficult" to announce that Newsom has blocked parole from Brown.
His decision last year, Brown acknowledged Van Houten's youth during the crime, for more than four years of good behavior as a prisoner and Manson handed over abuse. But he said Manson had blamed him too much for murders.
In the end, Van Houten described childhood problems. At the age of 14, when he said that he was divorced by his parents, he said he was a disaster. Shortly after, he said, he started using out-of-school crowds and drugs. At the age of 17, her husband and wife escaped from the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco in Summer of Love.
When he traveled up and down the California coast, the acquaintances took him to Manson. An outcast in Los Angeles, where he was hired by the "family" who hired him to survive, would be a warlord because of the murders and the murders.
Van Houten said that LaBiancas was killed, taking Leno LaBivia's body and immersing herself on the walls of the blood.
Nobody in Tate-LaBianca's killing has not been released from prison.
Manson killed 2017 natural causes in a California hospital for a life sentence.
This month earlier, the California parole panel recommends for the first time releasing Manson follower Robert Beausoleil. The musician Beausoleil Gary Hinman died.
