There are about 600 workers on the street, Metalpar, the most important truck and the country's bodywork. Last year, the company decided to grant employees a critical situation. A year ago, it had already proposed that the government establish a sustainable production program to overcome the decline in sales.
In a context of this crisis, Metalpar owners closed their workforce and 600 employees, including security, cleaning and maintenance workers, to receive compensation. On top of directly affected workers, the closure threatens the risk of continuing to work for 1,000 more suppliers and autoparts.
In October of 2017 the company signed an agreement with a manufacturing program, but transport companies had financial difficulties in constant training. At that time, the Metalpar director admitted publicly the definitive closing of the plant in the neighborhood of San Martin.
On top of directly affected workers, the closure threatens the risk of continuing to work for 1,000 more suppliers and autoparts.
The company is made up of Chilean Metalúrgica Paredes and Marcopolo de Brasil. According to the Infopoea portal, the sources of self-reported sources of interest rate interest groups led to the renovation of collective companies, which was the result of Metalpar, which generated 12 bodies a day.
The owners of the company also collaborate with Metalsur, a factory located in Villa Gobernador Gálvez, Santa Fe.
