Compressed natural gas (CNG) will increase by 14.3% in Buenos Aires before the 1st of December. In this way, they will be 14 to 16 cubic meters. Thus, the CNG will increase by 65% year-on-year with gasoline and diesel fuel.
The increases are related to the increase in gas prices. It is one of the biggest growths since 2002. During the financial year this year, the price of the cubic meter was 9.65 pesos. In the City of Buenos Aires, the value of CNG is 55%, cheaper than liquid fuels, the difference that is not maintained throughout the country.
The highest value is Santiago del Estero: 23.15 pesos cubic meter price. Meanwhile, Chubut will have its values in Buenos Aires next Saturday. Despite growth, gasoline cars keep the CNG conversion rate up. In October, it increased by 71.3% in October.
