Mars's land is difficult, but NASA only managed to get the latest InSight cape. In childhood, I love landing and other maneuvering space maneuvers on television – the seat feels a little bit of excitement. But I did not prepare to see a mission I was in work. InSight's seven-minute downturn was silent at all times as an eternity, as well as the recovery of time, in the calls to the engineer Christine Szalai system. I will never forget the happiest moment when it announced "touchdown confirmed".
The InSight mission has been in the planning for over ten years. Planetary missions are a strange oddball. While most of the missions are designed to view the surface or atmosphere of planetary bodies, InSight's goal is to explore deeply below the surface. In this way, we are responsible for how mysteriously created other rocky planets.
The lands make many tools, including seismometers, heat flow testers, magnetometers and radio transmitters. The heat flow and physical properties probe (HP3) will have a depth of up to five meters below Mars, almost twice as much as the manual manual for almost lunar missions. His measurements tell us how to understand how hot the planet is losing heat, how Mars helps us understand over time.
The rotation and internal structure experiment (RISE) will basically reset the radio signal sent from the ground. The difference between the originals and the translated signals can be used to work on the relative velocity of the Earth InSight, such as the mermaid's pitch, whether it's in the direction or away. Especially, we are interested in using speed, as you can say that the axis of the Marsen shaft worsens over time. Internal structure depends on the inner structure and, above all, the solid metallic metal. As a raw egg, it makes it harder than pale when flat surfaces are sculpted, Mars will have more wobbles, if the nucleus is liquid.
I work in the seismic structure of the internal structure (SEIS), with two seismometers mounted on a system level of about 15 cm above Marszenta. This experiment is designed to say the seismic activity in March. We will also use the seismic waves to reach seismometers, in terms of temperature and composition, as the doctor uses the CT scanner.
We have about three months now to increase and activate the tools. In the coming days, the health of the systems will be verified, and landing and the environment will be well-imagined so that the operations teams can use the InSight heat flow probe and seismometers. The first image extracted from the surface suggests that a sandy crater crater in a sandy area, which is almost unpolished, seems to be many possibilities.
In mid-December, the arm robot will lift seismometers mounted on crustal tripods and lower them to the surface. After making specific checks, the equalizer system will be used to ensure that seismometers are completely horizontal. By mid-January, a shield must be placed on seismometers to protect them from the elements. Then they can be turned on and the heat flow probe will open.
The fluctuation of the heat flows will begin to return to the data again as shown below, the result of the first half of 2019 is expected. The radio experiment will last sometime. So, next year we will not see the Marsen pole bust. Which is changing in the middle of 2020, when we need to know the secrets of their hearts.
In the SEIS experiment, when we see an exciting one, how much seismic energy is generated. I do not know at this time. What we know is two seismic sources of activity: near the surface of "marsquakes" caused by the effects of the meteorite and the movement.
We know that meteorites frequently use Marsen, the movement of errors is a mystery. Unlike Earth, Mars does not have a tectonic plate, so it is assumed that blame movement is part of the planet. However, some of the youngest mistakes in Mars are not cooled, but the rock movement underneath the surface. It will help us to develop specific motives for knowing the frequency and nature of the marches.
Through three major experiments, InSight will present the current situation and the composition of Marte "a photo". But that is not the end of the scientific discovery. In the end, the mission will help us understand the processes that last more than 4.5 million years ago when the solar system was very young.
Here's why. When the composition of a planet was launched, that is to say, Mars only had a thousand millions of years after the sun had raced. As the greatest distance from the sun, Mars is made up of more volatile and rich materials than Earth's. However, until the composition of Mars is known, it is very difficult to test and develop. InSight data returns will provide a key key for understanding how solar system systems in our solar system have been created, and maybe even other stars.
The composition of the planet, the temperature and the magnetic field are also essential for our planet to live. InSight does not look for life, even though Land has lived alone for the first 4 million years of life.
InSight Engineering has already been successful, and the team of scientists has now achieved a unique opportunity to show Marsen secrets. We hope we are excited.
