Nowadays it seems that anyone with a fast diet diet has a change. From 16: 8 to 5: 2, there are book shelves for food and water to sell.
Now, the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the Heidelberg University Hospital scientists have conducted the most intensive periodic interview on HELENA. The effect was that vegetables do not help to lose weight again and promote health less frequently than reducing normal calorie diets.
The German Food Association (DGE) warns that vegetables are not regularly suitable for long-term regulation. In addition, according to the DGE, there is not enough scientific evidence in the long-term effects of this dieting method.
"In fact, there are some smaller studies, which are not vegetables, so far, but have achieved good results for metabolic health," says DKFZ's Ruth Schübel. "This made us curious and to know if these effects can be demonstrated throughout the larger and longer patient".
In collaboration with researchers and scientists DKFZ at the Heidelberg University Hospital, Schübel has studied hypertension and obesity over 150 years as part of HELENA study. At the start of the study, three groups were randomly distributed: One third reduction in the usual calorie diet was reduced daily by 20 percent intake of calories. The second group remained in the 5: 2 diet plan and maintained 20% of the calorie intake throughout the week. The control team did not follow a specific diet plan, but it was advised, as with all other participants, to eat the right balanced diet recommended by the DGE. Following the daily diet phase, the researchers documented a weight and health status of 38 weeks.
The result can be surprising because there are too many internal intermittent followers. HELENA researchers found that health status was better with dietary methods. "Both participants of the groups, body weight and, on the other hand, lost medium fat or stomach fat, reduced their fat in the liver," said Schübel.
The good news is: little dieting success is a great health benefit. Only those who reduce five percent of the body weight will lose about 20% of the fatty liver fat by more than a third of liver fat and do not use dietary methods.
