The West Coast list has ranked 11th best in the championship according to the champion's data



As a collector of official AFL data, Champion Data usually conducts spot-based surveys.

But the rank of preference for the reign was very much like it.

In an article published by Herald Sun, the league statistics ranked the strength of each club that is entering the 2019 season.

Melbourne was at the top, behind Adelaide and Richmond.

The Eagles joined No.11, and Fremantle (17th) even worse, ahead of Gold Coast alone.

The Dockers position can be understandable when they are rebuilding. However, though Carlton does not question, another 17 teams beat the final season, the Eagles' baffling ranking.

The problem, according to Campion Data Analysis, lies in the middle of the field.

Although the West Coast (fifth) and defense (eighth) are strong, the midfielder unit has a 15th position in the competition.

Luke Shuey, Elliot Yeo, and Andrew Gaff scored only half of mid-2018 midfielders, who helped score a low score on the table.
