For personal reasons, Rubin Ritter plans to end his 2021 Annual General Meeting with his board members, as the company announced in Berlin on Sunday. “Zalando was my priority after more than eleven years, I want to give a new direction to my life,” the director said, according to the announcement. “Now I would like to offer more to my growing family. For my future, I would like more freedom to pursue new interests beyond Zalando.”
According to Cristina Stenbeck, chair of the supervisory board, the supervisory body and Ritter will work to cancel his contract in advance until November 2023. Founders Robert Gentz and David Schneider will continue to run the company together after Ritter’s departure, as it was called. / Mis
