TRENTON, N.J. – New Jersey Health Commissioner says the origin of a viral infection that killed 11 children was never known.
Dr. Shereef Elnahal has said before the Senate Commission on Monday.
Elnahal said the adenoviruses that dying from the Wankon (WAHN & # 39; -uh-kyew) children could have come to visit.
All the children in the facility had a serious underlying health condition.
Elnahal has said his staff has found "infection control deficiencies". He also installed almost a month to complete the installation for healthy and damaged patients, due to lack of space.
The representatives of the facility invited the hearing on Monday but did not participate.
