WASHINGTON: Jim Bridenstine of the NASA Administration said that SpaceX's creator, Elon Musk, is not publicly smoking, the media reported.
Musk's malicious consumption in marijuana, "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast in September, NASA leaders said "it was not a good behavior" and people will not see it again, The Atlantic said on Thursday.
Bridenstine said Musk recently spoke that he does not want to question the behavior of the NASA contractor.
"We've had a lot of conversations," he said.
"I will tell you that it is committed to security as anyone, and understands that it was not the right one, and you will not see it again," said Bridenstin at his home in Washington.
NASA is currently developing Musk's SpaceX and Boeing carrier systems, as US astronaut astronauts in the U.S. would have the chance to fly for the first time since the spacecraft was removed in 2011.
"They should take the example of what the leaders of these organizations have to take when they take an American astronaut to launch an organization," said Bridenstin.
There comes a weekend warning on Tuesday that NASA would review the work culture between SpaceX and Boeing.
"NASA will conduct a cultural assessment study to ensure collaboration with our trading partners to ensure that companies comply with occupational safety requirements to maintain a drug-free environment," said the agency.

NASA, in 2014, SpaceX and Boeing combined 6,8 million to launch an international astronaut system for the international space station.
Last week, NASA announced that the first uncrewed test of SpaceX would be provisional on January 7, but Bridenstine said Thursday that the date may not be too dense and springtime.
Managed test flights are expected next summer, but this time line is also likely to change, the report said.
