On Saturday, December 1, the day of the fight against AIDS took place. This topic has been important in our country due to the increase in cases recorded in recent years.
In fact, Monday, April 9, the Ministry of Health has announced that the rate of new cases diagnosed has increased from 96% in 2010.
In this situation, anti-AIDS organizations have been warned, because they have weaknesses in the public procurement system, such as HIV testing is not readily available.
This was the coordinator of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Leonardo Arenas, and said that 25 thousand people in our country do not know about HIV.
Arenas admitted that the Ministry has taken measures to control viruses, but in all cases it has reviewed the portfolio website and stated that since 2016, they have not updated the statistics on HIV-positive people.
AHF member stated that "We need tests and studies to advance so people can diagnose it".
As Arenas stressed, anyone who has sex with a sexual relationship, whether it is anal or vaginal, should try it.
He also said that people need to find out about the treatment of HIV. "People are a serological condition when it's too late," he said.
