The government presented a report on comprehensive health care, comprehensive health insurance, development of health facilities, as well as efforts to provide medicines, vaccines and formulas for children against hepatitis and to treat citizens to the detriment of the state.
The government has proposed a plan to study the C virus in 50 million citizens:
Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Madbouly said the government has submitted a report to the House of Representatives on a two-year follow-up to the government’s work program from July 2018 to June 2020.
The report also stated that within the framework of the implementation of the first phase of the comprehensive health insurance program, 41 hospitals will be developed in the Canal Region governments, and the first phase will include 305 units and centers to provide priority health care.
In addition to the 50 hospitals providing secondary and tertiary health services, 48 medical facilities have been provided in accordance with the quality standards of the governments of Port Said, South Sinai and Luxor, and 26 hospitals have also been established, developed and equipped.
In addition, 1,156 beds have been added to Government hospitals and hospitals affiliated with the General Secretariat for Specialized Medical Centers. A hearing impairment of 511,500 children has also been identified, and the government has continued its efforts to implement presidential initiatives to provide health care to citizens.
With regard to the C virus eradication initiative, 50 million people over the age of 18 have been studied, approximately 1,025 million infected people have been treated and 15 centers have been set up to treat the C virus in various governments.
