Former Edward Prince Ruthie Henshall and Opera singer Russell Watson are on the band I’m A Celebrity

Former Edward Prince Ruthie Henshall and Opera singer Russell Watson joined me on Tuesday night in the band I’m A Celebrity, to the delight of the audience.

The pair were rumored to be joining the first British series on the show after being seen in a photo shoot with all the other campers.

However, when the show started on Sunday night, the audience wondered why the couple didn’t make the final cut.

But it all came to light on Tuesday night after Ant and Dec arrived at Tuesday’s session after being teased.

TV presenter Vernon Kay, presenter and journalist Victoria Derbyshire, stage and screen star Shane Richie, Hollie Arnold MBE Paralympic gold medal, Radio 1 DJ Jordan North, Corrie icon Beverley Callard, AJ Pritchard ballroom dancer, author and podcast Giovanna Fletcher, Sir Mo Farah CBE Olympic legend and soap star Jessica Plummer.

West End veteran Ruthie, 53, is the star of sessions like Chicago and Oliver! She is the ex-girlfriend of Prince Edward.

He spoke about the relationship at Desert Island Discs in 2008 and said, “It always makes me laugh, I would say‘ I’m going to my boyfriend tonight. ’No one knew who he was.

“It was very exciting, but I really fell in love with it.”

“I think I had high hopes that we could continue the relationship between us, but I honestly and truly believe that I was very conscious that I wouldn’t be able to do what I do for a living if I stayed with him.

“And there was nothing, at that stage, that was more important than what I did.”

I’m A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
