Intel has introduced Intel Neural Compute Stick 2, built-in AI algorithms and network views for computer prototypes.
Intel Neural Compute Stick 2 is based on Intel Movidius Myriad X focus processing unit and supports the distribution of the Intel OpenVINO toolbar Intel.
"The first-generation Intel Neural Compute Stick created the entire community of developers of AI, based on the factor and price that did not exist before," said Naveen Rao, vice president of Intel Corporation and CEO of AI products.
"We are excited about the new Intel Neural Compute Stick 2 that demonstrates the ability of the community to build next".
For a smart camera, a drone, an industrial robot or an intelligent home-based device, Intel NCS 2 needs faster and faster prototypes, according to Intel.

Intel NCS 2 runs a standard USB 3.0 port and does not require additional hardware to easily convert PC-enabled templates to multiple devices nationally and without internet or cloud connectivity.
