MIAMI – After a dislocated ankle recently discharged by Caris LeVert, the dynamics have changed at the bottom of Nets, due to the greater responsibility that fell from the Russians on the shoulders of D & R. He won the heat in Brooklyn last week, not the first match with LeVert, but coach Kenny Atkinson had a great time since Russell made it.
"Of course, the ball handles much more," Atkinson said Heat tonight on Tuesday at American Airlines Arenan. "When Caris was there, some types of ballhandling shared obligations fell on him. He is playing with Joe [Harris] and Allen [Crabbe]and they are not eligible players. More are the catch-and-shoot guys. So its use has increased.
"Hear, it has played a great basketball. There's no doubt about that. It's a good way right now. I think it's a better defense, and it's a better player."
When LeVert talked to the media on Monday, he revealed that he would send a message from Russelli to think that Nets himself would take them. "I think people have risen," said LeVert. "I started the text that was sent to Dr. Angelo, and we had to download everything that I told him, we have all the pieces we need. If I like them, if they help each other, if they add more percentages, we will adapt them well."
