MANILA, Philippines – Secretary of Justice Menardo Guevarra warns former law enforcement officer Edgar Acierto and others to arrest and criminally "arrest" the authorities.
Guevarra said on Saturday that Acierto and seven others accused of "protecting or hiding" are responsible for justice.
Specialists have "condemned" and protected those who have been added by section 4 of Drug Hazard Law.
"More specifically, the protective sponsors (illegal drugs) that are accused of violating drug end-users section 4 are criminally liable to imprison themselves for 4 to 20 years and have to undergo P500,000 fine," said he was Guevarra.
Oscar Albayalde, the National Police of the Philippines (PNP), announced that Acierto and his exculpatory accused were involved in the alleged millions of "shabu" induced by controversial magnetic lifts.

Excepting the former police officer, the PNP also captured Jimmy Guban, former Customs Authority, and was appointed Deputy Director of Public Administration Ismael Fajardo (PDEA) for the Philippine Drug Enforcement; Chan Yee Wah Importers, KC Chan Alias and Zhou Quan, Zhang Quan; Vedasto Cabral Baraquel Jr. and Maria Lagrimas Catipan Vecaba Trading Consigned; and Emily Luquingan. / jpv
