A study by Minnesota University analyzed the practices and challenges of researchers and distributors. Chengyan Yue led the research team to showcase important approaches to growth and distribution practices and management in tourist sectors.


His findings have been published in the article "Turfgrass Breeders and Distributors Practices and Challenges". HortScience.

The researchers have four specific goals: 1) identify what turfgrass features prioritized by primary educators and distributors. 2) to evaluate how technical considerations have been implemented by these technical considerations; 3) the challenge to determine the characteristics of the goal to identify the encounter of turfgrass breeders; and 4) to investigate the differences between practices and challenges found by masters / distributors when they reproduce or distribute turfgrassas with different uses, and how demographic profiles and characteristics of the program affect these differences.

Increased urbanization and turfgrass growth have increased to study turfgrass growth and associated management practices.

In the United States, they occupy 1.9% of the continental crust and take more than three irrigation crops. Turfgrasses provide functional functions such as water quality protection, soil erosion control and water microclimate moderation.

The residential pasture has become one of the most important landscape landscapes that offers many benefits to games and aesthetics for many consumers. However, researchers and public concern more and more about water, pesticides, water purification and environmental problems, such as soil erosion and excessive food and pesticides, which are increasingly used in water storage.

To help meet the needs of consumers and to support environmental sustainability, plant growth programs have been evaluated, developed and seasoned. Several pests have been studied, including the resistance to pests and diseases, climatic adaptation of regions, drought tolerance and nitrogen restriction.

Growing in Turfgrass, in terms of other product development activities, the physical characteristics of the turfgrass variety determine its intrinsic characteristics and create a value for the supplier chain. As market-based businesses demonstrate that they have more opportunities for economic success, it is very useful to investigate the approach taken by turfgrass suppliers in the market.

To evaluate the Turfgrass industry, researchers conducted an online survey to investigate current practices and challenges found by United States turfgrass breeders and turfgrass seed distributors. The survey conducted questions on the use of turfgras on species, districts and their origin / distribution. Yue says "Turfgrass breeders or distributors who identify the main technical and social challenges need to be an important first step forward in exploring how to overcome these challenges to improve the overall success of the turfgrass industry."

The results presented in the article are useful for turfgrass researchers, breeders, distributors and politicians.
