Metro Exodus will be eligible for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions in 2021, in a message shared on the series ’official website that was officially announced by producer 4A Games.
We still don’t know the exact day when the new consoles will receive Exodus, however, these versions frame rate faster, higher resolution, reduced load time and functions ray tracing thanks to the new hardware.
“The new consoles are tremendous, and will allow us to deliver visual enhancements and performance that is only possible on the best PC hardware and RTX graphics cards so far,” he says in the official post.
All players who have purchased or purchased Exodus on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will be entitled to receive enhanced versions, either digitally or in physical format, at no additional cost. It is also confirmed in communication.
Metro Exodus has been released since February 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, later reaching the Luna and Stadia platforms. It is not the first time that the 4A Games and Metro series have been announced this morning, as it has been confirmed that the production company is developing a new work for the series for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. While the narrative remains the focus, there are also experiments to be done on the online multiplayer component.
