In order to fight cancer, agility is essential. In a time of so much doubt and uncertainty, receiving more than one medical opinion about the case can be a crucial factor in increasing the chances of a cure for early diagnosis. These and other issues will be presented at the “Integrated Solutions to Cancer” online event, which will be open and free to all interested parties. The meeting will be held by videoconference next Friday, the 27th, from 12:00 to 14:00, for information and registration at this link.
The seminar refers to the National Day Against Cancer, created with the aim of increasing the knowledge of the population about the disease, especially prevention. The panels “Integrated care model in practice” and “Patient experience core” will be covered.
The event is an initiative of the Integrated Oncology Center (CIO), formerly the Cancer Hospital, owned by De Mea De Hospital, maintained by the Associação Educadora São Carlos.
Telemedicine practices and the importance of second medical opinion will also be presented.
The chosen topic, involving new practices and technologies in the fight against cancer, in addition to prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
