The Redmi brand is from the Xiaomi ecosystem and is now a trusted name for many technology consumers. We know that the names associated with Xiaomi share a lot of patterns, quite similar, but so far we haven’t seen a smartwatch associated with Redmi.
However, the Redmi Watch, the brand’s first smartwatch, arrived with 12 days of battery life and integrated GPS.
New smartphones were launched on the Redmi Note 9 line yesterday. In particular, the line has Redmi Note 9 Pro, Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G. But there have been more than enough models to confirm the many rumors that have spread on the net lately.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro, for example, is priced at € 200 and already has a 108 MP camera, a screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz, NFC and a 4820 mAh battery. Also, the processor is Snapdragon 750G.
But the big news is the new smartwatch. The Redmi Watch brand appears as the first smartwatch and could come to the international market with the Xiaomi brand ... which, by the way, wouldn’t come as a surprise.
Xiaomi launches Redmi Watch smartwatch
The Redmi Watch is a watch with an iconic design in the segment. Rectangular screen and rubber bracelet in four different colors and metal structure.
The color screen is 1.4 inches, has automatic brightness adjustment and is water resistant (5ATM), which will make it the perfect product for water activities.
It comes with integrated GPS, allowing you to practice controlled outdoor sports without the need for a nearby smartphone. In addition, it still has NFC.
The monitoring of sports activities is of course included, as well as the monitoring of sleep and sedentary lifestyle, giving the user alerts.
In terms of autonomy, the brand talks about 7 to 12 day use. Of course, this is a value that will depend on the physical activity of the users.
At the moment, the watch is only available in China for 299 yuan, about € 38. It is expected to reach more markets soon.
