The government approved a vaccination strategy against COVID-19, the Ministry of Health said in a press release on Saturday.
The vaccination strategy was developed by the National Coordinating Committee for Vaccination Activities against SARS-CoV-2, an inter-ministerial body under the General Secretariat of the Government and coordinated by Prime Minister Orban.
- “The document sets out the approach, principles and mode of administration of COVID-19 vaccines in Romania authorized by the European Medicines Agency and is based on an analysis of the national and European status of SARS-CoV-2 spreads. The strategy, as a general objective, aims to ensure the right environment for vaccination, as an effective prevention policy for COVID 19 in Romania, but also for the creation of premises for the functioning of the vaccine against Covid 19 as a component of the nation. is to ensure effective and equitable prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection and to limit the COVID-19 pandemic throughout the country.The strategy establishes the entire SARS-CoV-2 vaccine process and chain, from general principles to vaccine organization, vaccine storage, cold storage, security and impact nkority monitoring and waste management. It proposes broad lines that will form the basis of the communication strategy of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination campaign in Romania, ”said Health Minister Nelu Tătaru.
