THREE COVID-19 vaccines: how much they will cost, how many doses will be prescribed and how they will be stored

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines have been shown to be effective in late-stage research. The third vaccine, Covid-19, from AstraZeneca and Oxford, is lagging behind.

Two COVID-19 vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna, have proven to be very effective in recent days, and have caused optimism as European and US health systems are near the border. Another – from AstraZeneca and Oxford – lags far behind. But how much will they cost and how difficult will distribution and storage be?

The general struggle to supply COVID-19 potential vaccines poses a number of problems: direct access, the logistics that will be required, the distribution, and perhaps the most notable, the price they will have, considering the amount already billions of doses.
