African cinema #MeToo has passed

Inspired by #MeToo, two actors, French Nadège Beausson-Diagne and Burkinabe Azata Soro, now present in Fespaco Ouagadougou, have harassed sexual harassment and attack African filmmakers.

"It's time to talk: it changes fear on the sides," said Nadège Beausson-Diagne, in the role of "Plus belle la vie" and "Bienvenue chez les Chéâtres". An interview with AFP at the 26th edition of the Panafrican Film and Television Festival of Uagadougou (Fespaco).

"There was no #Metoo in America, # Balancetonporc in France, no one in Africa yet spoke, but this is not because it does not exist, it's everywhere, not just against actors, but also director, scriptwriter, technician, harassment experience, sexual assault rape, "says the 46-year-old actress.

#Memepaspeur as the starting point for the movement, "wants to release the word of women in Africa".

Azata Soro, a 32-year-old actress and director, says director of Burkina Faso, Tahirou Tassere Ouedraogo, in 2017, filmed "The Throne" at Orange Studio in Fespaco.

After a series of events, "he attacked part of the bottle, cut his face," says tears.

He had been sexually harassed for several years in various productions of sexual harassment, asking him to "massage him" with him.

In an attempt at continuous testing, Mr. Ouedraogo acknowledged the events, demanded pardons, and punished the court's sentence in a sentence suspended in prison, according to AFP journalist. He never paid for Mr. Sora.

"Tahirou monster da," he says.

On the phone with AFP, Mr. Ouedraogo condemned the comment.

Without a name, Nadège Beausson-Diagne explains that he was a victim of harassment and aggression in two films in Africa, after becoming known in Fespaco in a selected film in 2001.

In the first production, Burkina Faso, "the producer has shaken many great directors". "They told me they were the key to my hotel room, I did not sleep," says the actress, shaking her lads.

When filming a movie that will be selected at the Cannes Film Festival, the director asked for a make-up: "Make Nadège sleep with me, otherwise I will shoot you."

"Before all the actions, he told me + I love you in the ear". "He offered me money to settle in a house, to be a child, to bring my mother in a group of his pregnant wife."

Then sexual assault happened. "To get there, I was only in the car with him, he started walking in a forest at some point and started to touch, I screamed, he stopped."

"It's been a long time ago, but there's still pain, young women are invited to talk about rebuilding," says Beausson Diagn.

"I invite" organizations to "grant" subsidies to these sex offenders, "says movies that women can do only for women."

It was launched at the end of 2017, the #MeToo Women's Words Liberation Movement, and #Balancetonporc in France has been spoofing, film, fashion, media and political worlds, due to the problems of many personalities.
