After 100 days of jail and two previous appeals, Carlos Ghosn is trying his luck again: newly appointed lawyers have announced that they have bailed out on Thursday.
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Motors Automotive Alliance, the first 64-year-old CEO, was arrested in Tokyo after his arrest on November 19 with alleged financial maladies.
The third request is that Mr. Ghosn has changed his defense team.
Initially, he selected the Attorney General, Motto Otsuru. However, the latest passive attitudes and dismissal requests, the Franco-Lebanese-Brazilian businessman wanted to call La Barca veterans, including Junichiro Hironaka, the "innocent" nickname.
"The prosecutor keeps the arrest, he does not recognize, I want to ask people from the standpoint of international standards," the lawyer shook the press conference last week.
Meanwhile, the judge threatens to change the risk and evidence to justify the tracking of the car's tycoon.
– "Dictator" –
What arguments did the lawyers make to persuade the court? Nothing is strained yet
"We can not go to the details or say if we take a different approach," said a member of Me Hironaka's cabinet, in contact with AFP. "We plan to give details" on a Monday press conference in Tokyo.
Mr Ghosn was committed to settling in Japan earlier, allowing a wristband to be worn, although this system was not in the archipelago.
Carlos Ghosn has shut down the arrests of the business world, reducing the revenue of 9,23 million yen (74 million euros) in 2010 and 2018. Reports delivered by Nissan to the stock exchange authorities. He has also been accused of reliance.
He was 15 years in prison.
He is "committed" because of the innocent, that is, to defeat the profound integration project of three companies: Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors.
Nissan repeatedly rejected this thesis. "This is not the case, he made serious mistakes, he could not accept," said a company about this week. "For 15 years, he has run two companies (Nissan and Renault since 2005) and this government has created a dictator."
– "Inside" –
During the interview on Nikkei's business day, Nissan's chief executive, Hiroto Saikawa, denounced the "total dependence" of the company as the former savior.
"The memory of 1999 (Mr. Ghosn was a powerful one to correct the builder and at the end of the defeat) was strong, and Nissan hoped to stay alone and stand up for stabilization."
As Saikawa says, if the truth can be broken, he was less likely to be Carlos Ghos. From April of 2017, he was the only President of the board and his visits were considered as spaces. "His power has disappeared," he said.
For now, a txistular appeared, setting up an internal survey of 2018 and surprise the industrial detention of November in November.
Since then, Carlos Ghosn has removed his titles.
This saga has put the tension of Franco-Japanese alliance, since 1999, by cross-solidarity. Nissan wants all the costs to be avoided in the concentration of power again, wants to reclaim its autonomy and reset the forces of the alliance.
"The head of the Board of Directors will be decided internally," said Mr Saikawa, the new President of Renault, Jean-Dominique Senard, who is in charge of recovering confidence, "understands it perfectly." French, the diamond's brand shareholder, has favored the party as the sole and sole president of both allies.
