Nokia has a problem: sending data to China

How would it not be lately enough? Nokia sends other phones to China.

Nokia 7 owner Henrik Austad announced his suspicions that HMD Global is under investigation in Finland to send data to China. According to the discovery, they are GPS position, serial number and SIM card. The data sent server was registered in domain vnet.cn, in the state managed by Chinese Telecom.

HMD Global approved the NRK of Norway, but said it was just a software error that was directed at the beginning of January. According to NBC, it violates GDPR's rights to at least HMD Global.
