After all the frustration after the final mermaid, Patrick Geering succeeded Finn as the best competition, fights his fists and added more players in black and white sweater. But he did not use anything, he lost ZSC Lions Oulu 2: 3, taking the lead 2-1 even after 40 minutes. After 4: 4 in the first part of Zurich, it was for the Swiss champions: the last sixteen was the Champions League final.
The second was in the quarterfinals, as Finland's champion was clearly winning, and ZSC pressed several times.
In fact, the opposing goal failed individual defects: before 2: 2, Fredrik Pettersson released the attack with the third record, 2: 3 after 73 seconds giving more importance to Kevin Klein with his opponent Radek Koblitz freely.
40-minute force of lions
The ZSC has done a good job two days, it has done a lot. The unstoppable and sure goal of the ZK Lions phase began. Jérôme Bachofner was officially classified, and Pus Suters made a long shot, and Chris Baltisberger (desirous and clever) deflected it and entered it into the network. It was only in the second half of the third half, Lions 2-1 and Kärpät's pressure at the beginning.
But let's say: The lions did not show signs of missing the Finns against the Finns, as they lost only one of the ten homemade matches in October. They offered more than parodies to Kärpät, who had the right response to prepare for any attack, could freed them from any grip, earned 2-1 with trust and deservedly in the second step.
Abandoned by Blindenbacher
When the ZSC Lions began, it initially only had to undergo a brief phase of pressure from Kärpät. Shortly after, the inhabitants of Zurich increased their flu. They were the powerplays at first sight (Pfostenschuss in Hollenstein's 7th minute), but they were successful. As usual, Chris Baltisberger joined the bundle for a puck in a 1: 1, technically, as his Pettersson's passphrase passed.
The deficit of 0: 1 for ZSC was eight minutes after returning 2-2 unnecessarily. Severin Blindenbacher lost his goal behind his goal, and Kärpät exploited the chaos of the ZSC defense.
He played for a long time, but three times at the most important moments the mistakes were very annoying: at the end he was not enough against a team of Kärpät Oulu.
Sorry Swiss benchmark
ZSC Lions initially made the CHL debacle out of the Swiss approach at the end of the afternoon, as Lugano, Bern and Zug were also excluded. It was also very annoying from Ticino. 4:15 at Frölunda Götheborg Lugano was twice leader (3: 1, 4: 3), but eventually as a loser from ice. In the first half, the two teams distributed 1: 1. Ryan Lasch, SC Berne, who played for 2016/17 season, won both goals with Frölunda and scored two goals. The USA also won the winners of the 2016 and 2017 Champions League for three hours.
Arriving at SC Bern, after losing his first leg in Malmö, he lost two goals. Bern's second leg lost SCB 0: 1. In the end, Leonardo Genoni took the ball to the field.
Most unexpected, however, came EV Zug. The ECC won the first leg of 3: 2 Red Bull Munich and needed a home game so that the only "one" move would be to draw. However, it was different: Zugek did not score, 0: 2 Frank Mauers stayed five minutes since he was sealed at the Swiss Center.
