It was long known that Samsung wanted to focus on flexible devices, so it’s also willing to sacrifice the Galaxy Note line (if you want to believe the rumors). GSMA has written that the company’s new folding devices will be called the Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Fold Lite and Z Flip2.
According to UBI Research, the three smartphones will use the next generation of UTG (Ultra-Thin Glass) flexible displays and LTPO technology to reduce energy consumption.
Perhaps the most interesting model will be the Z Fold3 with a selfie camera below the screen. The diagonal of the main screen of the device will be 7 inches. The external screen will be 4 inches.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite will offer the same screen configurations, but without a sub-screen camera. The model will be cheaper.
And the successor to the Z Flip will have a flexible 6.7-inch main screen and a 3-inch external display. The phone is also expected to have S Pen support.
