England has failed to close the gaps with the best nations for 20 years after cancer, an analysis suggests.

Between 1995 and 2015, the Government's Health Record Foundation's review stated that despite the establishment of four strategic objectives, the NHS has still left behind.

Services improved, 10,000 lives can be saved every year.

It was the key to ensuring the diagnosis was earlier, he said.

Prof. When Sir Mike Richards warned that the government had cancer cancer, it warned patients that it was difficult to obtain tests and scans.

"Although progress has not been made, the objective of these strategies has not been achieved".

As far as the NHS is behind?

Survival rates are improving. In the year 2000, 62% of the patient survived for at least one year. For 2015, this proportion rose to 72%.

Meanwhile, five-year survival has risen from 42% to 53%.

Other nations have also improved. The Health Foundation highlighted the recognition of five other British nations: Canada, Australia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Six key cancer types were performed: colon, rectum, breast, lung, obstructive and prostate.

Each one of them has been under the age of two since the year 2000 to achieve a five-year survival. Breast cancer only shut the gap well.

The highlighted figures underlying thought have 10,000 deaths each year with a better diagnosis. This is the disease in 13 months.

What is the problem?

Sir Mike speaks of NHS's "gateway".

The doctors did not pay too much attention to the doctors, the NHS did not have enough equipment or personnel to do all the tests and scans properly.

This would require large investments to predict, the report said.

GPs gather about 2 million patients per year for testing and urgent scans, nearly four decades ago.

But the rise of the references has long joined expectations, now struggling to meet the NHS's goals.

And despite the coverage of numbers, it has been diagnosed in five cases through an emergency present in accidents and emergency units.

Patients diagnosed with this trip will survive while the cancer is diagnosed.

Sir Mike said the Health and Healthcare Act of 2012 also affected the services, which had specialty of district cancer specialists in reducing health service.

He said many of the experienced professionals who had left the NHS left.

What does the government do?

Sir Mikes welcomed the Government could give an additional 20 million euros and added an additional 2023 for the year and cancer is a key axis.

In the last month, the Prime Minister requested a new strategy for diagnosing three quarters of cancer, which is now only half.

NHS England is already underway in the diagnosis clinic. These are mainly stagnant testing centers, where patients can access specialists and procedures often on the same day.

Sir Mike said he would help these steps.

Additionally, it should be noted that signals and symptoms need to be made to increase public awareness. Research in the UK shows that sometimes the shadows are showing signs of cancer.

And said the NHS had to find new approaches, according to the research that shows that people at risk of lung cancer may take advantage of a new chance probability using low-dose CT testing.

The Department of Health and Social Services stated that improving the early diagnosis was "a priority" and in the coming years the diagnosis was achieved with the new goal.
