In honor of the World Immunization Week held last week in April, it is important for us to think about the powerful effects of vaccination on healthy communities, as well as the steps we take to eliminate illnesses that prevent vaccines. Vaccination is most effective in saving public health and interventions, avoiding a global budget of 2 to 3 million deaths per year.
From 1989 to 1991, the vaccination program against the United States of America against the Epidemic Infant, for example, saved US $ 295 million for direct hospitalizations and 20 social cost of $ 1.38 trillion.
In Indonesia, however, the benefit and reputation of vaccine efficacy has been infected with a great deal of mistrust and infidelity.
